Raymond A. McClone's Obituary
Raymond A. McClone, age 85, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, WI. He was born May 25, 1932 in the Town of Deer Creek, Outagamie Co., WI; son of Edward and Maude (McGinty) McClone. Raymond served in the U.S. Air Force from January 5, 1951 until he was honorably discharged on November 29, 1954. He will be dearly missed by all of his loving family and friends.
Raymond is survived by his four children, Raymond McClone, Jr. of Rockton, IL, Debra Lowery of Rockton, IL, Mary (Bernie) Geyer of Rockton, IL, and Robert (Cyndie) McClone of Roscoe, IL; eight grandchildren, Jason, Jamie, Jackie, Max, Matthew, Macy, Jennifer, and Mary; two great-granddaughters, Shelli and Tess; two sisters, Marion Lorge of Bear Creek, WI and Elaine (Jim) Loughrin of New London, WI; and one sister-in-law, Joyce McClone of Neenah, WI. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Maude McClone; a daughter-in-law, Becky McClone; a brother, Edward McClone; and a sister, Maude Finger.
Per Raymond’s wishes, a private family graveside service will be held at a later date at the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the McClone family. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
