Rebecca L. Creamer's Obituary
Rebecca (Becky) Lynn Creamer, of Waupaca, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at her family home on August 16, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
Born on January 17, 1949, in Pontiac, Michigan, Becky moved with her family to Manawa, Wisconsin, shortly after birth. She grew up there and graduated from Little Wolf High School with the Class of 1967. On July 8, 1972, she married the love of her life, Doug Creamer.
Early in their marriage, Becky worked as a CNA at the Wisconsin Veterans Home. After starting her own family, she opened her heart and home to many children as a caretaker. Her most cherished role was serving as a school bus driver for the Waupaca School District for 25 years. She loved the children she drove as if they were her own, and they loved her in return.
After retiring in 2014, Becky and Doug enjoyed traveling, volunteering, and spending time with friends and family. She had a passion for cooking and baking, often modestly saying her treats didn't quite turn out the way she wanted, though they were always delicious. Her warm humor and radiant smile could light up any room. Becky was a faithful member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church in Waupaca.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents, David A. Niven and Alice G. Niven. She is survived by her devoted husband, Douglas K. Creamer; her children, Jennifer (Thomas) Kildow of Stevens Point, WI, Jessica (Paul) Ryan of Waupaca, WI, and Josh (Jennifer) Creamer of Marinette, WI; and her beloved grandchildren, Taylor Ryan, Madysen Ryan, and Darien Creamer. She is also survived by her sister, Nichoe Lichen of Santa Fe, NM; her brother, Dave (Kay) Niven of Manawa, WI; and many extended family members and dear friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waupaca at 11 AM on Saturday, August 30th, 2025, with Reverend Ben Kempfert, officiating. Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9 AM until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Waupaca County Humane Society.
