REINHOLD NEHRING
POY SIPPI, WI Age 89 – died on Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at Juliette Manor in Berlin, WI. He was born on February 16, 1916 in the Township of Leon, Waushara County, WI, a son of the late Leonhard and Martha (Bauernfiend) Nehring. He married Esther M. Yohr on June 1, 1935 in Wautoma, WI. Reinhold is survived by his wife: Esther, eight children: Calvin (Betty) Nehring of Weyauwega, WI, Joann (B. Orville) Behm of Oshkosh, WI, Arlene (Doug) Sebstead of Neenah, WI, Sandra (Gary) Wolfe of Neenah, WI, Carlton (Bonnie) Nehring of Plymouth, WI, Rev. Gary (Sharon) Nehring of AuGres, MI, Monica (Ken) Larson of Neenah, WI, and Kay (David) Niven of Manawa, WI, 25 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, a half-brother: Elmer Nehring of Clintonville, WI, a half-sister: Ruth Parker of OR, a sister-in-law: Nora Schoenick of Weyauwega, WI, and a step-sister: Loretta Eilert of Oshkosh, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents: Leonhard Nehring and Martha Werremeyer, a grandson: Carlton B. Nehring, a half-brother: Benjamin Werremeyer, a sister-in-law: Laura Paap, and two brothers-in-law: Norman Paap and Norman Schoenick. Reinhold was a member of the Christ Ev. Lutheran Church in West Bloomfield, WI and had held many positions in the church throughout the many years he was a member. He had farmed in the Poy Sippi area for many years. He had also been a mechanic, a truck driver, and a service station owner. Reinhold had also been the sexton of the Poy Sippi, Pine Grove, and Brushville Cemeteries for many years, retiring only three years ago. A funeral service will be held at the Christ Ev. Lutheran Church on Friday, April 1, 2005 at 11:00 AM, with Pastor John Schmidt, officiating. Interment will follow in the Poy Sippi Cemetery in the Township of Poy Sippi, Waushara County. Friends may call at the Holly Funeral Home in Poy Sippi on Thursday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 PM, and at the church on Friday morning from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Christ Ev. Lutheran Church of West Bloomfield in the name of Reinhold K. Nehring. The Holly Funeral Home of Poy Sippi, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
