Renee F. Pauloski's Obituary
Renee “Frenchy” Francis Joseph Pauloski, age 86, of Scandinavia, went to meet his Lord on January 18, 2019 at Theda Care Medical Center in Neenah, WI while surrounded by his family.
He started his life in Cicero, IL on Oct. 2, 1932. He was the son of Helen Biadasz Pauloski Zawitaj and Anthony Thomas Pauloski (step-father, Thomas Zawitaj). At a young age he grew up in the Stevens Point area with his mother and grandparents, and he often spoke of being the only student in his class who could only speak Polish.
After high school he joined the National Guard and was stationed out of Fort Sill. That same year he met his future bride and love of his life, Constance Kathleen Peplinski, just before the military ball.
After trying many different jobs, he started his construction/electrician apprenticeship, and began his 65-year career as a construction electrician.
He volunteered as a boy scout leader in Appleton, WI then moved his family to a 160-acre hobby farm in Scandinavia, WI. He continued scouting and teaching youth about outdoor skills and leadership.
Renee is survived by the love of his life of 65 years, Connie; his children, Yvonne (Robert) Hamstad, Stephen (Pamela Peterson), Yvette (Marvin) Shulfer, Tony (Jodi Feltz), Jenny (Ed O’Brien), Annette Schlotman. Along with 21 grandchildren: Rebecca, Michelle, Joshua, Justin, Megan, Moriah, John (Hamstad), Kyle, Hunter, Jessie (Pauloski), Ryan, Nate, Falan (Shulfer), Bobbie, Sam, Garrett (Pauloski), Megan, Jamie, Brett James (Peterson), Marc, Colton (Schlotman), brothers-in-law: Jim (Agnes) Peplinski and Leo (Barb) Peplinski. Along with 16 great-grandchildren and numerous extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his step-sister, Jeanette Doggett, brother and sister-in-law, Gusty and Janet Peplinski, his parents, mother and father-in-law along with many aunts and uncles.
A mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Mary Mount Carmel Fancher, 3995 Cty Rd. K, Amherst at 11:00AM on Monday, January 28, 2019, Reverend Daniel Hackel to officiate. Burial to immediately proceed in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home with Crematory, 262 Main St. S, Amherst from 3:00-5:00PM on Sunday, January 27, 2019. Visitation will continue at the church on Monday from 10:00AM until the time of Mass.
