REUBEN “BUD” J. PETERSON, JR.
KING, WISCONSIN Age 75 passed away on Monday, January 17, 2005 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. He was born November 22, 1929 in the Town of Helvetia, Waupaca Co.; son of Reuben Sr. and Sarah (Clapps) Peterson. On October 7, 1952, Reuben married Etta F. Durrant in Manawa, WI. She preceded him in death on March 24, 1999. Reuben is survived by:
Sisters: Sarah Martin of Waupaca, WI
Bonnie Grulke of Fort McCoy, WI
Sisters-in-law: Shirley Kaul of Sussex, WI
Ruth Schlotman of Nekoosa, WI
Niece: Shirley (LaVern) Cady of Iola, WI
Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Etta Peterson, two brothers, Charles and Lawrence Peterson, and three sisters, Ruth Handrich, Clarice McGlin and Murial Werth. A Funeral Service will be on Thursday, January 20, 2005 at 11:00 AM at the Wisconsin Veterans Home – Olson Hall Chapel. Chaplain Tracy Hamelink will officiate. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Thursday at Olson Hall Chapel. Burial will be at Big Falls Cemetery in the Town of Wyoming in the spring.
