Reynold "Reyn" P. Carey's Obituary
Reynold P. Carey (Reyn), age 59 of Rosholt, WI passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. Reyn was born on April 25, 1964; son of Dale Carey and Carol (Trzebiatowski) Lea in Stevens Point, WI. He attended the Amherst School systems and graduated in 1982. On October 17, 1983 he joined the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in Bremerton, WA on October 16, 1987.
After his discharge, Reyn worked for Atlantic Marine in Bremerton, WA & Jacksonville, FL, and Capital Insulation in Nashville, TN refitting heating and cooling pipes and installing new insulation on US naval ships and in commercial and government buildings. Reyn was a proud member of the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers Union, Local 86 out of Nashville, TN.
Reynold is survived by his son, Russel Carey of Baton Rouge, LA; mother and step father, Carol & Robert Sr. Lea of Amherst, WI; brother, Randall & Tracy Carey of Amherst, WI; Step children Nicholas Doland & Casey Doland of Cookeville, TN; Former Spouse Tina Case & her son Corey Case of Lafayette, TN; also eight grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Carey, brothers, Robert Carey, Robert Lea Jr., Former Spouse Ramon Sanders.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, WI. Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst is assisting the family with arrangements. A celebration of life will be at Par 4 Resort following the ceremony.
