Richard A. Bernhardt's Obituary
On Sunday, January 15, 2023, Richard Allan Bernhardt, loving spouse and father of 3 amazing children, passed away peacefully at age 51, surrounded by family and an outpouring of love. He was born on June 16, 1971 in Baraboo, WI to William & Peggy Bernhardt.
Rich graduated from Reedsburg Area High School in 1989 and married his high school sweet heart, Natasha Nobs. May 15th, 2023 would have been their 30th wedding anniversary.
He will always be remembered as an outgoing, friendly, caring person who had a huge heart and a great sense of humor. He lit up every room he entered and always made everyone smile.
Rich loved the outdoors, camping, boating, and taking yearly vacations to Mexico with his family. He was an avid hunter that enjoyed pheasant, duck, & deer hunting with his boys. He also enjoyed training his dogs as loyal hunting companions.
Rich was a dedicated electrical engineer for the last 30 years. He is proceeded in death by his mother, Peggy Bernhardt, and his father- in law, Duane Nobs.
Rich is survived by his wife, Natasha, 3 children, Logan, Colby, & Reyna, all of Waupaca. His father, William Bernhardt (Winona, MN), mother-in-law Cecelia (Teddy) Nobs (Jarry Glick) (Reedsburg). Sister Billie Jo Bernhardt (Baraboo), sister-in-law Tammie (Jeff) Schroeder (Tomah), nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, along with many other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
