Richard "Dick" Kranzusch's Obituary
Richard C. (Dick) Kranzusch, age 77, of Waupaca, WI passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. Dick was born in Appleton, WI on August 27, 1937, he was the son of the late Orson and Dorothy (Schroeder) Kranzusch. On February 11, 1961 Dick married Valerie Melzer in Appleton. He worked for many years at Zwicker Knitting Mills in Waupaca. He is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Dick is survived by his wife: Valerie Kranzusch, Waupaca; his daughters: Bonnie (Daniel) Kranzusch-Dahlke, Inver Grove Heights, MN and Cheryl (Mark) Taber, Waupaca; his grandchildren: Alicia (Nathen) Watts; Andrew Peterson & Stephen Dahlke; his great grandchildren: Brandon, Tyler and Kenny Watts and his brothers: Norman "Tom" Kranzusch, Appleton and Jerry (Penny) Kranzusch, Oconomowoc, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, William and his wife, Joan; a sister-in-law, Marilyn and great-granddaughter, Rosalie Ann Watts. The Funeral Service will be on Friday, September 5 at 11 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca with Rev. Jennifer DeNetz, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Visitation will be on Thursday evening from 4 to 7 PM at the Holly Funeral Home continuing on Friday morning from 10 AM until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Dick's name.
