Richard K. Buck's Obituary
Richard K. Buck, age 77, of Waupaca, WI passed away on Friday, July 27, 2012 at home under the care of his family assited by Theda Care at Home Hospice. Richard was born in Waupaca on July 21, 1935, the son of the late Kenneth L. and Leta (Nielsen) Buck. On June 22, 1955, he married Jane Faulks at the First Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Dick loved to deer hunt and spend time with his seven grandsons. He especially loved to tell them about Jesus and was so proud of his fifteen great grandchildren with # 16 expected in December. He is survived by his wife: Jane Buck, Waupaca; his children: Steve (Carol) Buck & Jolene (Mike) Smith, Waupaca; his grandsons: Jason (Mandy) Smith; Jeff (Cathy) Smith; Dan (Mary) Engle; Don (Kate) Engle; Matthew (Erica) Buck; Andrew (Erin) Buck & Brandon Engle; his brother: Larry (JoAnn) Buck, Oconomowoc, WI and his sisters: Madlyn (Gary) Sweetalla, Kaukauna, WI & Ilona (William) Leach, Fremont, WI and many nieces & nephews that loved him so much. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter & son-in-law, Charlene & Al Engle and a brother & sister-in-law, Jerry & Phyllis Buck. The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, July 31 at 11:30 AM at First Baptist Church, Waupaca with Reverend Larry G. Gross, officiating. Military rites will follow the services. Visitation will be on Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at the First Baptist Church. A Memorial Fund has been established in Richard's name. Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
