Richard Kilawee's Obituary
RICHARD A. KILAWEE
AMHERST, WISCONSIN Age 75, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point, WI. He was born May 2, 1936 in Lewiston, ME; son of Patrick and Theresa (Schwinn) Kilawee. On July 25, 1959, Richard married Patricia Reitz in Milwaukee, WI. He served in the U.S. Air Force from February 16, 1954 – November 1, 1957. Richard and Patricia raised miniature horses on their farm in Bancroft where they competed nationally. He was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed the outdoors, where he hunted and fished. Richard was a member of the American Legion Post # 339 of Almond. He will be deeply missed by all his loving family and friends. Richard is survived by:

Della Milbach of Sturgeon Bay, WI
Victoria Sullivan of Kaukauna, WI
Sisters-in-law: Lois Kilawee-Bozile of Odessa, FL
Barbara Kilawee of Sugarland, TX
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Theresa Kilawee; four brothers, Father Ivo, Martin, Joseph, and Charles Kilawee; two sisters, Patricia (Dean) Ekstrom and Sister Marie Kilawee; and three brothers-in-law, William Milbach, Clarence Sullivan, and Ronald (Lynn) Reitz. A Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, Hwy 54 between Waupaca and Plover, Town of Buena Vista, WI. Father Daniel Farley will preside. A visitation will be held from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the church on Wednesday. Burial will be at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Lanark following the mass on Wednesday.
