Richard Mackin's Obituary
Richard J.(Dick) Mackin, age 83, of Waupaca, WI passed away Friday, November 11, 2005 at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah, WI. Dick was born in Milwaukee, WI on September 10, 1922 the son of the late Daniel R. and Josephine (Schulte) Mackin. On Dec. 15, 1951 Dick married Arlene Gehring in Milwaukee, WI. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II and worked for over 25 years for Bell Telephone Co. He also is a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Community in Waupaca. Dick is survived by his wife: Arlene Mackin of Waupaca; three sons: Dennis (Ruth) Mackin of Waupaca; Terry Mackin of Milwaukee, WI and Rick Mackin of Wichita Falls, Texas. 6 Grandchildren: Ryan, Kelly, Pat, Mark, Sharon & Dawn and a Sister: Mary Eglsaer of Milwaukee, WI. Dick was preceded in death by four brothers, Dave, Dan, Joe and Ed and two sisters, Betty and Lola. A Funeral Mass will be on Monday, Nov. 14 at 11 AM at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Waupaca with Reverend James Vennix, officiating. Entombment will be in St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery in Milwaukee, WI. Visitation will be held on Monday morning from 10 to 11 AM at the church.
