Richard Maday's Obituary
On the evening of Thursday, March 9, 2006 Richard Rick Maday was called home while at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah at the age of 36 while surrounded by friends and family. Rick was born at Riverside Hospital in Waupaca on September 18, 1969, the son of Melvin and Anna Marie (Lucht) Maday. Rick attended Tomorrow River Elementary School and continued on to graduate from Amherst High School. He was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waupaca. Rick was an avid outdoors man that enjoyed hunting and fishing. He volunteered much of his time was a caregiver for those in need. He was a bartender at Murphy's Pub in King. He loved children, animals, video games, playing cards, making new friends, working on cars, and Mom's cooking. He had a big heart and always put his friends needs ahead of his own. He was known for his sense of humor and practical jokes. He is survived by Mother: Anna Marie Maday, Plover, WI; Brothers: Ronald (Terri) Bradley, Coon Rapids, MN; Randy Bradley, Stevens Point; Niece and Nephew: Asha and Quinn Bradley, Coon Rapids, MN; Uncles: Arden Lucht, Almond, WI; George (Marie) Maday, Wild Rose, WI; Aunt: Dorothy Vetter, Stevens Point, WI; Close Friends: Sherrie Frenchi and her children, Andrea, Alicia and Aaron, Waupaca, WI; Bob Cranford, Waupaca, WI. Rick was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Maday; Grandparents, Walter and Margaret Lucht, Martin and Evelyn Maday, and Ray and Ethel Bradley. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, March 15th, 2006 at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca with Reverend James Bump officiating. Interment of cremains will be held at a later date in the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Buena Vista, Portage County. A visitation will be held from 4 - 7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home and on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of the service. A memorial has been established.
