age 87 – died on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 in Waupaca, WI. He was born on July 22, 1923 in Manchester, IL, the son of Robert and Vera (Ranney) Morrison. He married Christine Sisneros on March 1, 1942 in Florence, SC.
Richard is survived by his wife, Christine, children; Sandra (Bill) Myers of Fountain Hills, AZ, Roland Morrison of Madison, WI, and Ronald (Beth) Morrison of Stewart Island, New Zealand, two grandchildren; Jennifer Decker Nichols and Tracy McNamara, and two great grandchildren; John George Nichols and Morrison Chase McNamara. He was preceded in death by a son, Roderick Morrison, a daughter, Kay Morrison, his parents, and a sister, Margaret.
Richard had been employed with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for many years. He had served in the U.S. Air Force during WW II.
A funeral service will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI on Friday, November 5, 2010 at 11:00 AM, with the Reverend Ray Robinson, officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery in Madison, WI. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
