Richard R. Rogers' Obituary
Richard R. Rogers, age 71, of King, WI, passed away on Thursday, May 18th, 2017 at Wisconsin Veterans Home-Olson Hall in King. He was born in Menomonie, WI on September 10, 1945, son of the late John and Lois (Burck) Rogers.
Richard enjoyed playing cards and bingo. He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. Richard moved to the Wisconsin Veterans Home from Menomonie on January 21, 1997.
He is survived by his Brother: David (Jean) Rogers, Pardeeville, WI. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister - Mavis, brother-in-law - Richard Klingman, brother - Robert, nephews - Ronald Rogers, Dan Klingman and Perry Klingman.
A Memorial Service will be held at Wisconsin Veterans Home-Olson Hall Chapel, King, WI at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, June 13th, 2017, with Chaplain Rich Engle, officiating. Interment of cremains will be in the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Town of Farmington, Waupaca Co., WI. Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 12:30 PM until the time of the service at the Olson Hall Chapel.
