RICHARD “SCOTT” PACKER
AMHERST, WISCONSIN Age 42 passed away on Friday, July 29, 2005 at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, WI. He was born February 9, 1963 in Waupaca, WI; son of Richard C. and Linda L. (Weldon) Packer. On March 28, 1987, Scott married Hazel (Christensen) Carlson in Nelsonville, WI. Scott was a member of the Lion’s Club and was a scout leader for the local boyscout pack and troop. He served on the Nelsonville Lutheran Church Council for 2 years. Scott’s hobbies included fishing and working on cars. He was a member of the Nelsonville Lutheran Church. Scott is survived by:

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Claire Packer, maternal grandparents, Asel and Ange Weldon, and three uncles, Gary Packer, Sid Weldon, and Louis Weldon. A Funeral Service will be on Thursday, August 4, 2005 at 3:00 PM at the Nelsonville Lutheran Church in Nelsonville, WI. Reverends Al Moen and Brian Konkol will officiate. A visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, Aug. 3, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst, WI. Burial will be at Nelsonville Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of New Hope following the services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in the name of Richard “Scott” Packer.
