Rita L. Jorgenson's Obituary
Rita L. (La Flex), Jorgenson, age 73, of Waupaca, WI, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021 in care of ThedaCare at Home Hospice at Bethany Home in Waupaca, WI. She was born on February 24, 1948 in Oshkosh, WI, daughter of Delbert and Velda (Bartel) La Flex. She had a deep love of animals and much of her life was dedicated to them. Rita worked alongside her mother and grandmother at the family restaurant in her younger years and then spent many years on a horse farm raising a variety of animals.
Rita is survived by her husband, Larry Jorgenson of Waupaca, WI: daughter, Missy (Al) Cummings of Appleton, WI; granddaughters, Kalista (Matt) Eckstein of Neenah, WI; Rachel (Damon) Bisping of Oshkosh, WI and Madison Johnson of Appleton, WI; great-grandchildren Alexis, Andrew, Gavin, Autumn and Bryce; and her beloved dog, Kitty.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family would like to thank the staff at Bethany Home in Waupaca and ThedaCare Hospice for the care they provided her and continued dedication during a pandemic.
A private gathering will be held by the family.
