Robert A. Block's Obituary
Robert A. Block, age 83, of Waupaca, passed away on Wednesday, July 24th, 2024 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center - Neenah. He was born in Milwaukee on July 20, 1941, a son of the late Ralph and Frances (Higgins) Block.
He married Sandra Moore on August 10, 1974. She preceded him in death on September 27, 2007.
He worked for many years at Gusmer Industries in Waupaca. Robert was a dedicated family man. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and most other outdoor activities. Robert always enjoyed sitting down and having a good conversation.
Survivors include his Daughters: Melinda (John) Nero, Waupaca, WI; Marci (Mark Owen) Spaulding, Waupaca, WI; Grandchildren: Kennan Miles; Justice (Trisha Nord) Miles; Sydney (Ryan Gurholt Jr.) Ciura; Gabrial Spaulding; Nathaniel Spaulding; Kaylee Spaulding; Alex Owen; Elizabeth Owen; Great Grandchildren: Kaden Hendricks; Carter Miles; Brother: Ralph (Brenda) Block, Waupaca, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife - Sandra.
The Funeral Service will be held at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 1 PM on Thursday, August 1st, 2024, with Mr. John Lauritzen, officiating. Interment will be at Rural Cemetery, Town of Dayton, Waupaca Co, WI. Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 11 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Melinda Nero or Marci Spaulding.
