Robert Burns' Obituary
Robert M. Burns, age 68, of Dorchester, WI, formerly of Wheeler, WI, passed away Saturday, September 27th, 2008 at Crystal River Nursing Home surrounded by his sister and neice. He was born in Menomonie, WI on September 29, 1939, the son of Morris and Cecilia Theresa (Klosowski) Burns. Robert served in the United States Army. He is survived by Sister: Mary Cripps, Plainfield, IL; Brother: Gerald Burns, Abrams, WI; Brother-in-law: George Toman, Waterford, WI; and a Sister-in-law: Nancy Burns, Kiel, WI. Robert is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Joan Toman; and brother-in-law, Gordon Cripps. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI. Father Bert Samsa will officiate. Interment will be in Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Town of Beaverbrook, Washburn County. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of the service.
