Robert Engbretson's Obituary
Robert S. Engbretson, age 78, of Waupaca, Wisconsin, passed away Tuesday, November 13th, 2007 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. Bob was born in Town of St. Lawrence, Wisconsin on May 30, 1929, to the late Oscar and Esther (Madsen) Engbretson. He served in the U.S. Marines from 1948-1951. On Nov 23, 1950 he married Darlene L. Hoffman in Chicago. Bob worked as a purchasing manager at the Waupaca Foundry for 16 years and retired in 1987. He enjoyed golfing, bowling along with watching the Green Bay Packers and Chicago White Sox. He is survived by his Former Wife: Darlene, Waupaca; Daughters: Susan M (Michael) Janssen, Green Bay Sandra (Steven) Hupfer, Green Bay, Sister: Genevieve Hillstrom, California. He is further survived by nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his Sister: Arla Mae Engwis and Brother: Alan Engbretson. A Memorial Service will be held at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, November 16th, with Lee Engbretson-Nephew officiating. Visitation will be held Friday from 12 noon-1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bob's name may be directed to the charity of your choice. The family would like to thank the Staff of Riverside Medical Center for the excellent care provided to Bob and his family during his illness.
