Dear Aunt Caroline,
I am sorry to hear of Uncle Bob's passing. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of the week I spent with you two in Milwaukee and then up at the cabin. I always looked up to Uncle Bob because he had the heart of a hunter and the soul of a choirboy. He showed me that a tough guy can cry sometimes. And laugh and enjoy life to the fullest, too! I remember when the two of us were walking a ways from the cabin one evening while I was staying with you both, and we heard a pack of wild dogs off in the woods across a sunset field. If I hadn't been walking side by side with Uncle Bob, I would have been paralyzed with fear. But, he always gave off a sense that "everything would be alright" with his sturdy presence and calming voice. "VIVE BOBBY PEACHY!"
And may God be with you and your family, during this time and always.
