I remember when . . .
My brother, Bob, was in training at Naval Station Great Lakes and I was about five years old, he sent me a candy cane for Christmas that was taller than I was! I remember our dad using a hammer to break it into chunks so I could eat it. I have no idea how long that delicious gift lasted, but it was undoubtedly a very long tasty time.
I love you and will remember our good times always!

Just a couple memories that go way back ..
Julie remembered when we lived in Beloit, Bob flew a doctor friend’s plane; took us all up for a ride. I had forgotten he was a pilot. Have no idea for how long.
I seem to have lost the photo but in 1950 Bob worked with Gramp Rassier for a summer; & shortly after we got engaged we spent the weekend with Gram, Gramp & Bob at their Hayward cabin. Gram took a picture of the rest of us. Gramp, Bob & “me” were all holding guns for target practice. Probably the one and only time I had a gun in my hand.
Diane so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I remember back when we all worked at Bethany Home. He was so patient with the residents he helped and everyone loved him. You two were a good team. My prayers go out to you and the family during this time.
