Robert Edward Gill, 91, of Waupaca, WI, formerly of Evanston, IL, passed away at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, WI, on Tuesday, March 22, 2016. Robert was born on July 15, 1924, son of the late Arthur and Stella (Launer) Gill.
Robert was a big model railroad enthusiast and drove bus for many years for the City Of Evanston, IL.
Robert is survived by: daughters Carol A. (Thomas) Slusser, Dayton, OH, and Gail M. (Lonnie) Piper, DeKalb, IL. He is preceded in death by: his parents; daughter Susan E. Gill; son James E. Gill; ex-wife Alida M. Gill; brother Stanley A. Gill; sister-in-law Barbara Gill; niece Joanne (Josie) Gill; and nephew Barton Gill.
Per the family's wishes, a private service was held.
