Robert "Butch" Hoerning's Obituary
Robert “Butch” R. Hoerning age 87 of Neenah, WI passed away on Saturday December 15, 2018. Butch was born on December 1, 1931, the son of Wilbur and Rose (Dresler) Hoerning. Butch married Gloria Ehrgott on October 26, 1972 in Menominee, MI. Butch enjoyed fishing, wood working, singing and his zero-turn lawn mower. Butch served in the U.S. Marine Corp. during the Korean War.
Butch is survived by his wife Gloria Hoerning; his children Charlene (Mike) Vanden Boomen, Barb (Glenn Hietpas) Romnek, Michael (Sandee) Hoerning, Karen (Brian) Vandenberg, John (Anne) Hoerning and Laura (David) Hopfensperger; step daughters Debi Duford and Linda (Danny) Dayot; brother -in-law Leroy Blank; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews’ other relatives and friends.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents Wilbur and Rose Hoerning; brothers Lester (Hildegard) Hoerning and Jerry (Virginia) Hoerning and sisters Carol (Jim) Kampo, Delores (Bud) Elmer and Nancy Blank.
Per Butch’s request, no services will be held. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
