Robert Kucksdorf's Obituary
ROBERT F. KUCKSDORF KING, WI (FORMERLY OF BOWLER, APPLETON, AND GREENVILLE, WI)) Age 77 – died on Saturday, May 14, 2005 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King, WI following a battle with kidney failure. He was born on October 15, 1927 in Bowler, WI, a son of the late Robert and Elsie (Miller) Kucksdorf. He married Nancy Ecker on September 27, 2002 in Appleton, WI. and they had shared 16 years together on their land in Greenville. Robert is survived by his wife: Nancy, three sons and a daughter: Larry (Joni) Kucksdorf of Plover, WI, Lee (Cheryl) Kucksdorf of Neenah, WI, Lori (Dan) Schroeder of Greenville, WI, and Lester (Darlene) Kucksdorf of Jacksonville, AR, six grandchildren: Kimberly, Bradley, Dawn, Derek, Jordan, and Joshua, and a brother: Roland (Joyce) Kucksdorf of Shawano, WI. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother: Millerd and his wife Dorothy Kucksdorf, and a nephew: David Kucksdorf. Robert was a charter member of the Shepherd of The Hills Lutheran Church in Greenville, WI. He had worked for and was retired from Kimberly Clark Corporation - Lakeview Mill. He had served in the U.S. Navy during WW II. He was a member of the Harvey Pierre VFW Post #2778 of Appleton, WI. He was an avid hunter and sportsman and enjoyed fishing. A funeral service followed by military rites will be held at the Wisconsin Veterans Home – Main Chapel at King, WI on Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at 2:00 PM, with Chaplain Wayne Schwanke, officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Friends and family may call at the Main Chapel at King, WI on Wednesday from 12:30 – 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated in the name of Robert F. Kucksdorf. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King for the care they provided for Robert.
