Age 86 – died on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King, WI. He was born on February 14, 1925 in Menomonee Falls, WI, the son of Joseph C. and Agnes (Martin) Neuburg.
Robert is survived by a brother; William (Anita) Neuburg of Florence, WI, five sisters; Lorraine Mueller of Germantown, WI, Mary Lou of Sheboygan, WI, Aurelia Grosklaus of Juneau, WI, Cecelia Sinden of Germantown, WI, and Bernadette Wallace of Sevierville, TN. He is further survived by nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers; Paul, Leo, and Tony.
Robert had served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and the Korean War. Robert had been employed as a carpenter with various construction companies over the years. He came to live at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in September of 2004.
A funeral service will be held at the Olson Hall Chapel of the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King, WI on Monday, June 6, 2011 at 1:00 PM, with Sister Cathy Wottreng – Catholic Chaplain, officiating. Interment and military rites will be observed in the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at King, WI following the funeral service. A visitation will be held at the Olson Hall Chapel on Monday from Noon – 1:00 PM. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
