ROBERT N. PIERRON
KING, WI. Age 87 – died on Monday, August 21, 2006 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King, WI. He was born on October 8, 1918 in the Twp. of Belgium, Ozaukee Co., WI, a son of the late Nicholas and Johanna (Mayer) Pierron. Robert is survived by two brothers: Francis Pierron of Grafton, WI, and Eugene Pierron of Belgium, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents. Robert had served in the U.S. Army from September of 1942 until he was discharged in October of 1945. He had been a writer, selling articles to a number of different magazines. He had also been a writer for the NBC television company. He had written material for many celebrities, including Bob Hope, Johnny Carson, Jerry Lewis, and others. He had also worked as a jewelry maker after leaving NBC. He came to the Wisconsin Veterans Home from Chicago in October of 2005. At this date no service has been scheduled. Cremation will take place with the cremains being buried in the Holy Cross Cemetery in the Twp. of Belgium, Ozaukee County, WI. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
