Robert L. Prochnow's Obituary
Robert L. Prochnow, age 92, Waupaca, WI passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Theda Care Medical Center-Waupaca. Bob was born in Evanston, IL on September 21, 1925, the son of the late Edward and Henrietta (Hales) Prochnow. Bob graduated from Waupaca High School and was a proud veteran of WW II. He was a part of the 2017 Honor Flight. Bob worked for over 30 years for Fromm Dog Foods as a salesman. After retiring, he was a courtesy driver for Waupaca Motor Sales and Neuville Motors retiring on his 90th birthday. Bob was an avid Chicago Cubs & Chicago Bear fan. He is survived by his children: Gary (Julie) Prochnow, Waupaca; Lee (Bill) Schultz, St. Paul, MN and Judy (Doug) Reach, Waupaca, 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and his step-brother, Russell (Donna) Wiesen, Waupaca. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Edward and his very special friend, Dorothy Woods. A Memorial Gathering will be on Thursday, January 25 from 3 PM to 6 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca with Military Honors at 6 PM. Burial will be at a later date in the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, King, WI. Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
