Robert W. Roberts' Obituary
Robert W. Roberts, age 50, of Wautoma, WI, passed away under the compassionate care of hospice on Friday, October 11, 2024, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton, WI. Born December 19, 1973, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh, WI, he was the youngest son of Merlyn J. and Judith A. (Kikendall) Roberts.
Throughout his life, Robert worked at various places, including Piggly Wiggly in Redgranite, Movie Gallery in Wautoma, and Wild Rose Manor, among others. He was well-known for his passion for WWE and LPW wrestling, especially fond of the classic Hulk Hogan days. A lifelong Chicago Bears fan, Robert enjoyed the playful teasing from family who supported rival teams.
Robert treasured time spent with his family and made lasting memories in his final year, attending a George Strait and Chris Stapleton concert with his nephew and enjoying a special trip to Door County with his niece.
He is survived by his loving sister Adriena (Ron) Daniels of Redgranite; his cherished niece Mary (Aaron) Sekey of Redgranite; two special nephews Luke Gustke of Redgranite and Jay (Ashley) Roberts of Pickett; along with dear friends Linette (Ken), Jennifer (James), Cam, and Jason. He will also be deeply missed by many other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Merlyn and Judy Roberts, and his four brothers, Daniel (Bonnie) Roberts, Jeffery Roberts, Edward Roberts, and Terrance "Terry" Roberts.
In accordance with Robert's wishes, he will be cremated, and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
