Robert Sanders' Obituary
Robert R. Sanders, age 61, of Waupaca, Wisconsin , passed away Monday, January 24th, 2005 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, Wisconsin. Robert was born in Iron Mountain, Michigan on December 20, 1943, the son of the late Leslie and Ruth (Anderson) Sanders. On April 1, 1989, Robert married Kathleen Verga in Pewaukee, WI. He was a telecommunications manager for SBC/Amertech. He is survived by his wife: Kathleen of Waupaca, WI; his daughter: Cindy (Ken) Brzank, New Berlin, WI; his son: Steve Sanders, Redgranite, WI; two grandchildren: Morgan and Connor; his brother: David (Ginny) Sanders, Florence, WI; two sisters: Armine (Ernest) Mattia, Iron Mountain, MI; Arlene Thompson, St. Louis, MO; an uncle: Bob Sanders, Ann Arbor, MI; and Godchildren: Quinn Thompson and Rob Mattia. He is further survived my many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Community, Waupaca, at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 28th, with Reverend John Becker officiating. Interment of cremains will be in the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Cemetery in Waupaca. Visitation will be on Friday 9:30-11:00 AM at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Community. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Hope Lodge, 611 W. Doege Street, Marshfield, WI. Holly Funeral Home, Waupaca, assisted with arrangements.
