Robert Schober's Obituary
Robert A. Schober, age 69, of Waupaca, WI., passed away on Thursday, October 5th, 2006 at his residence. He was born in Milwaukee on January 21, 1937, a son of the late Elmer and Helen (Mesching) Schober. He married Linda Kaminski on February 14, 1959 in Milwaukee. Robert attended Pulaski High School in Milwaukee. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1957-1964. Robert had worked for Presteel Tank and Wisconsin Gas Co. Robert graduated from the Milwaukee School of Engineering in 1972. He was a member of Waupaca Area Model Railroad Club. Robert was an excellent hunter and fisherman and enjoyed carving decoys and target shooting. Robert was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca. Survivors include his Wife: Linda Schober, Waupaca, WI; 2 Sons: Lynn Robert (Jody) Schober, Iola, WI; Dean (Betty) Schober, Hartford, WI; a Brother: Richard Schober, Waterford, WI; a Brother -in-Law: David (Joan) Kaminski, Muskego, WI. He is further survived by nieces and nephews. He ws preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca at 12:00 (Noon) on Tuesday, October 10th, with Reverend Nate Liedtke officiating. Interment will be in the Scandinavia Lutheran Cemetery, Town Scandinavia, Waupaca Co., WI. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 11 AM until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in the name of Robert A. Schober. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
