ROBERT G. VANDERBILT
KING, WI (FORMERLY OF OSHKOSH, WI) Age 85 – died on July 24, 2006 at the Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca, WI. He was born on October 7, 1920 in the Twp. of Woodman, Grant County, WI, a son of the late Riley G. and Jessie (Kemnitzer) Vanderbilt. He married Rose Vitale. Robert had served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He came to the Wisconsin Veterans Home from Oshkosh, WI in March of 2002. He had been employed as a manager of a Dry Cleaning business. He is survived by his wife: Rose, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, and sisters. A funeral service will be held at the Wisconsin Veterans Home – Ainsworth Hall Chapel at King, WI on Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at 11:00 AM, with Sister Catherine Wottreng, officiating. Interment will be in the Central Wisconsin Veterans memorial Cemetery at King, WI. Friends may call at the Ainsworth Hall Chapel at King, WI on Wednesday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca assisted the family with arrangements.
