Roger D. Byars' Obituary
Roger D. Byars, age 59, of Weyauwega, WI, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, April 10th, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Madisonville, TX on October 6, 1956, a son of the late Fount and Rubena (Yaeger) Byars.
Roger married Linda Lesko on August 18, 2001 in Waupaca. He worked as a HVAC Technician at Sears for 21 Years. Roger also had worked in the oil fields of Texas and Guatemala for many years right out of High School. He was a member of Faith Community Church in Waupaca. Roger loved camping and fishing. He especially loved spending time with his grand kids. Even though he was born and raised in Texas, he had been a life long Packer fan.
Survivors include his Wife: Linda Byars, Weyauwega, WI; Step-Children: Kim (Brett) Himebaugh, Waupaca, WI; Kelly (James) Dombrowski, Rosholt, WI; Brian (Courtney) Williams, Weyauwega, WI; Grandchildren: Christopher Williams and Bailey Himebaugh; Aubree, Ava, Clare & Natalie Dombrowski; Tatum, Sariya & Barett Williams; Sisters: Willie Mae Farmer, Winnsboro, TX; Peggy Bourg, Omaha, NE; Patricia (Les) Phillips, Houston, TX; Mother-in-law: Lois Lesko, Clintonville, WI; Sister-in-law: Karen (Fiancé - Bruce) Lesko, Oshkosh, WI; Brother-in-law: Robert Lesko Jr., Milwaukee, WI. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister - Shirley Castenello, brother - Daniel Ray Byars, father-in-law - Robert Lesko Sr. and two brothers-in-law.
Funeral Services will be held at Faith Community Church in Waupaca at 12:00 (Noon) on Saturday, April 16th, 2016, with Pastor Ron Womeldorf, officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 4 until 6 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca and on Saturday, from 11 AM until the time of the service at the church.
