ROGER CARL JOHNSON
GLIDDEN, WISCONSIN
FORMERLY OF WAUPACA, WISCONSIN Age 76, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 3, 2014 at his home. He was born January 28, 1937 in Chicago, IL; son of Carl and Elynor (Hult) Johnson. He was raised in Waupaca. After graduation, he entered the United States Air Force and served his country. Roger was employed as an electrician and retired from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers before moving to Glidden in 1998. He was an avid Packer and Badger fan. He enjoyed watching his grandsons sporting events. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, woodworking, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Roger is survived by:

Ginger (James “Max” Anderson) Johnson of Waupaca, WI
Geoffrey (Wendy Buck) Johnson of Waupaca, WI
Six Grandchildren: Carl (Amanda), Craig & Marcus Johnson; Matthew Johnson & Nicole Griswold; and Shane Anderson

The Mother of His Children: Janet Johnson of Waupaca, WI He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Johnson and Elynor Johnson-Rasmussen, and a daughter, Tammy Johnson. A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI. Pastor Jonathan Sachs will officiate. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon at the Holly Funeral Home. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements. HOLLY FUNERAL HOME
