Roger Schultz's Obituary
Roger Schultz peacefully joined his wife, Mabel Ann in eternal life on April 16, 2007. He was born on April 14, 1923 in Portage County to Merle (Wilson) and Carl Schultz. Roger served as a paratrooper in WWII from 1944-1946 in the US Army 82nd Airborne. He lived in West Allis from 1950 until his retirement from Kearney & Trecker in 1982. Roger retired to work his family farm in Amherst. Roger is survived by his Children: Deanna (Bill) Lea, Carl Schultz, Jerri (Dan) Renz, Eddie Schultz, Penny Schultz; Loving Friend: Kathleen King, . . . . , Eight Grandchildren; Four Great Grandchildren and a sister, Isabelle Lawrence. A Gathering of family and friends will be held at the Amherst United Methodist Church, 163 Laconia Street on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at 1:00 PM followed by a Celebration of Life service at 2:00 PM. The Reverend James Scott will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Roger W. Schultz Memorial Fund is appreciated. The Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst assisted the family.
