Roger Sweeter's Obituary
Roger S. Sweeter
New London, WI (formerly of Waupaca) Age 58 – died on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah, WI. He was born on March 15, 1953 in St. Cloud, MN, the son of Henry and Edna (Schwartz) Sweeter.
Roger is survived by two daughters; Betty (Dale) Kettlewell of Waupaca, and Jeanne Sweeter (Special Friend: Travis) of Wisconsin, step-children; Pam Repec of Illinois, Debra Repec (Special Friend: Jeff L.) of Wisconsin, and George (Deanna) Virnich of Wisconsin, four grandchildren, 13 step-grandchildren, five step-great grandchildren, and his ex-wife; Patricia Gregory. He is further survived by four brothers; Marvin Sweeter, Harold (Lois) Sweeter, Arnie (Donna) Sweeter, and Jim Sweeter, and a sister; Bernice (Chub) Peterson. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, a sister-in-law; Phyllis, and a niece; Tammy.
A memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Waupaca, WI on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 11:00 AM, with Reverend Cathy Weigand, officiating. A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday morning from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. A memorial has been established in the name Roger S. Sweeter. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI assisted the family with arrangements.
