RONALD G. BIRNER
SCHOFIELD, WISCONSIN
FORMERLY OF THE TOWN OF LANARK, WISCONSIN Age 81, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Kennedy Park Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Schofield, WI. He was born March 30, 1932 in Milwaukee, WI; son of George and Tessie (Jezeski) Birner. Ronald married the love of his life, Eva Holmes, on June 28, 1969 in Hancock, WI. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time outdoors. Ronald will be remembered for his amazing smile and big heart. He was devoted to his loving wife and family. Ronald will be deeply missed by all of his loving family and friends. Ronald is survived by:

Daughter: Lucy (Ed) Benson of Weston, WI
Son: Eugene Birner of Waupaca, WI
Grandchildren: Brittany, Cody, Brandon, and Cassandra Benson of Weston, WI

Sisters: Rita (Robert) DeWerd of Owatonna, MN
Janet (Leo) Straseski of Sussex, WI
Two Brothers-in-law: Carson Remington of Milwaukee, WI
Lee Holmes of Hancock, WI
Sister-in-law: Thelma Safian of Big Flats, WI
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Tessie Birner, and a sister, Marieta Remington. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements. A special thank-you to all of the staff at Kennedy Park Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and to Aspirus Hospice for all of their help and support to our family.
