Ronald J. Jansen's Obituary
Mr. Ronald J. Jansen, age 71 of Waupaca, formerly of Iola, passed away Wednesday, February 18th at his residence. Ron was born in Kimberly, Wisconsin on February 8, 1938, he was the son of the late Martin and Vivian (Wilson) Jansen. On Sept 26, 1964, he married Sandy (Deltour) Jansen at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Appleton. Ron enjoyed spending time in Minoqua camping, fishing, boating and building campfires. He also enjoyed hunting at the shack and fishing on the Peterson. He enjoyed taking many trips to Las Vegas and Florida; and playing cards with friends. What he cherished most was spending time with his girls, sons in law and grandchildren. Ron & Sandy operated Jansen's Clubhouse Restaurant in Iola for 5 years. The family would like to thank The Theda Care Hospice team, Dr. Swanson & Mary Jo, Dr. Bauer and Reverend Nate Liedtke for the special care given to Ron and his family. He is survived by Wife: Sandy Jansen, Waupaca; Daughters: Teri (Gary) Schultz, Iola; Vicki (Ralph) Mack, Iola; Shelley (Dell) Mork, Scandinavia; Julie (Rich) Rasmussen, Waupaca; Grandchildren: Melisa (Brian) Hansen; Holly & Megan Schultz; Jamie (Brandon) Schultz; Samantha & Mariah Mork; Brynn & Bryce Rasmussen; Great Grandchildren: Saree &Kiley Hansen; Lilyann & Ryan Schultz; Hayley, Tanner & Jayden Schultz; Brother: Gary (Wendy) Jansen, Appleton; Sisters: Janice Sauer, Appleton; Marilyn (Roger) Melum, Iola; Darlene (Butch) Merek, Appleton; Carol (Denis) Walter, Iola Sister in law: Gloria Jansen, Appleton, Sister in law: Marilyn (Ken) Keddell, Appleton; Brother in law: Richard Deltour, Appleton. Ron is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by Larry Jansen and Sister: Barbara Loose. Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca at 11:30 AM on Saturday, February 21st, with Reverend Nate Liedtke officiating. Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday 10-11:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established. A.J. Holly & Sons LTD
