Ronald W. Jensen's Obituary
Ronald W. Jensen, age 81 of King, WI passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021. He was born March 20, 1939, son of the late Emery and Lillian (Berg) Jensen. Ronald joined the United States Army in 1961 and was honorably discharged in 1965.
Ronald’s post-service years focused on real estate, inventive endeavors, hunting, fishing, and motorcycle adventuring. He played the banjo, mandolin, guitar, and harmonica. As life progressed, Ronald grew to appreciate the wonder and beauty of God’s Creation and spent his retirement years designing and building functional and beautiful bird feeders and bird houses… by the thousands.
Ronald is survived by Darlene Jensen, a son; Daron (Lorie) Jensen of Wautoma, WI, daughter; Ronda (Michael) Larkin of Brookfield, WI, grandchildren; Michael (Kelly) Jensen of Milwaukee, WI, Daron Jensen Jr. of Milwaukee, WI, Tammie (Brett) Lakose of Brooklyn, IA, Alex Larkin of Brookfield, WI and Abby Larkin of Brookfield, WI, great-grandchildren; Riley, Johnnie, and Ethan, sister-in-law; Pat Jensen, and comforting friend; Mary, also many other relatives and friends. Ronald is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Emery Jr.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 3rd at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. Military Honors will follow the service. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service at Holly’s. Holly Funeral Home wants to remind the public that wearing of masks and physical distancing will be observed.
