Ronald N. Kellner's Obituary
Ronald N. Kellner, age 71, of Waupaca, WI passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. Ron was born in Milwaukee on September 11, 1940, the son of the late John and Adele (Klatt) Kellner. On January 20, 1962, Ron married Joyce Ann Kuokkanen in Milwaukee. He was a Milwaukee Co. Transit Bus Driver for many years before retiring. After moving to Waupaca, Ron became a volunteer at the Wisconsin Veterans Home, was active at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church involved in several prayer chains, the Knights of Columbus and was a Boy Scout Leader. He was known as Ron the Birdman, making cedar birdhouses & birdfeeders. He started a Neuropathy Chapter at the Medical College, which has helped many. Ron is survived by his wife: Joyce A. Kellner, Waupaca; a daughter: Joan (Bob) Wehrman, Honolulu, HI; his sons: Richard Kellner and John Kellner, Waupaca; his grandchildren: Alyssa & Eva Kellner and Aaron Wehrman; his sister: Karen (Frank) Sberna, Gahanna, OH and his special granddog: Carmel. He is also survived by many special relatives & friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Jerry Kellner, his father and mother-in-law Clifford & Margaret Kuokkanen and a brother-in-law Gary Kuokkanen. Memorial Services will be on Saturday, NOVEMBER 24 at 11 AM at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church with Father Paul Vanden Hogan, officiating. Visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of services at the church. A luncheon will follow. Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
