Age 52 – died very unexpectedly on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at his residence. He was born on January 7, 1958 in Chicago, IL, the son of Thomas and Audrey (Hansen) Paulson. He married Diane Dean on August 14, 2008 in Waupaca, WI.
Ronald is survived by his wife; Diane, a son; Ronald J. (Trish) Paulson, Jr of Lake Geneva, a daughter; Danielle and David Paulson O'Connor of Waupaca, four grandchildren; Scarlet O’Connor, Isabelle O’Connor, Rosa Paulson, and Ronald Paulson, three brothers; Tom (Sheryl) Paulson of Manawa, John Paulson of Stevens Point, and Mark (Maria) Paulson of Park Ridge, IL, two sisters; Cheryl (Thomas) Randazzo of Park Ridge, IL, and Patricia Stille of Waupaca. He is further survived by aunts, an uncle, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Ron had been employed as a grinder at the Waupaca Foundry. He loved his children and grandchildren and enjoyed any time he could share with them.
A funeral service will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 11:00 AM, with the Reverend Bob Hanson, officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Township of Dayton, Waupaca County, WI. A visitation will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca on Tuesday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM, and on Wednesday morning from 10:00 - 11:00 AM. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
