Ronald G. Pinkalla's Obituary
Ronald G. Pinkalla, age 71, of Waupaca, WI, was called to eternal life on Thursday, June 12, 2014. He was born in Milwaukee, WI on October 21, 1942, son of the late Casimir and Charlotte (Dobrowolski) Pinkalla.
Ron married Diane Merkel on April 4, 1964 in Butler, WI. He was dedicated to family, and they enjoyed traveling, camping, hunting and fishing together. He had worked as a field service manager for Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation. Ron was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Waupaca. He belonged to the Knights of Columbus and the Waupaca Conservation League, and he was a volunteer at the Wisconsin Veterans Home and Hartman Creek State Park. He had previously been a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader and an officer of the Waukesha and Wisconsin Jaycees.
Survivors include his wife Diane of Waupaca, WI; sons Brian of Deltona, FL; Craig (Sharon) of Eagan, MN; Mark (Amber Janelle) of Plover, WI; Paul (Amy) of Waupaca, WI; grandchildren Stephanie, Ryan, Caleb, Gabriel, Yvonne, Eliza, and Danielle; brothers Don (Donna) of Waupaca, WI and Wayne (Sandra "Sam") of Palmyra, WI. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Waupaca, on Saturday, June 28, 2014, from 9 AM until the celebration of a Memorial Mass at 11 AM, with Father Amalraj Roche officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary Magdalene. .
