Ronald Wachs' Obituary
Ronald “Ron” Wachs, age 73 of Wild Rose, died unexpectedly Saturday, December 11, 2010 at his residence. Ron was born on May 10, 1937 to Edward and Gertrude Wachs in Milwaukee, WI. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He then worked as a truck driver for USF Holland. Ron married the late Patricia Knoll and then remarried to Emily. Ron was also known as “governor” due to his knowledge of everything. He enjoyed bowling in which he received a 300 game in 1964, crossword puzzles, and hanging out at the Ding in Wild Rose with his friends. Ron is survived by his son, Darren Wachs, Milwaukee, WI; daughters, Dana (Barbian) Kika, FL; Deanne (fiancée James Robbins) Hanson, Weyauwega, WI; step-daughter, Dawn (Kurt) Weitkonat, Hales Corners, WI; sister, Judith (Richard) Pollich, Milwaukee, WI; grandchildren, Sarah and Justin Duff, Brad and Danielle Hanson; great-grandchild, Desmond Fraley; nieces, nephew, and many friends. Ron is preceded by his parents and late Patricia Knoll. A visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Thursday, December 16th at Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose, WI.
