ROY H. SHAFFER
WAUPACA, WISCONSIN &
THE VILLAGES, FLORIDA Age 88, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2010 at his winter home in The Villages, FL. He was born June 20, 1921 in Oshkosh, WI. On June 8, 1946, Roy married Charlotte Nowland in Wild Rose, WI. Roy was a recipient of The Purple Heart, as a WWII veteran. He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Waupaca, WI. He was a devoted husband and father who loved God and family. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and horseshoes. His love and cheerful sense of humor will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him. Roy is survived by:

Two Daughters: Sandra (Hollis) Bliss of Dacula, GA
Melody (Donald) Kieper, Jr. of Neenah, WI
Two Grandchildren
Three Great-Grandchildren
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and many friends. He was preceded in death by one grandchild. A Funeral Service for Roy will be held in June at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI.
