Rudolph "Rudy" W. Hebein's Obituary
Rudolph “Rudy” W. Hebein, age 80, of Waupaca, WI, formerly of East Troy, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at ThedaCare Medical Center in Waupaca, WI. He was born August 31, 1939 in Milwaukee, WI; son of Rudolph J. and Leona (Papke) Hebein. After high school, Rudy enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served honorably from December 4, 1956 – January 3, 1960. On August 10, 1970, Rudy married Barbara J. Willert in Milwaukee and together they shared 40 years of marriage before her passing on April 28, 2011. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching sports on TV. Rudy will be dearly missed by all of his loving family and friends.
Rudy is survived by his children, Robert (Jackie) Hebein of Minocqua, WI and children, Adam and Jacob; Andrea (Justin) Bechard of Waupaca, WI and their children, Riley, Hailey, and Easton; Rudy Hebein and family; and Christine Hebein and family; one brother; and one sister.
Per Rudy’s wishes, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Rudy’s name. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
