Russel A. Schinke's Obituary
Russel A. Schinke passed away peacefully on March 24, 2024 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, Wisconsin. Russ was born to Ervin “Pete” and Rose Schinke on March 30, 1953 in Merril, Wisconsin.
Russ served his country faithfully in the U.S. Army. After the Army, he worked many different jobs, sharing his knowledge to all, as a “Jack of All Trades”.
Russ is survived by his only son, Chad (Kris) Schinke, his siblings; Helen (George) Kuczmaraki, Wilma (Mike Loka) Schinke, Kathy (Pat) McDonald, Rose Ann (Conrad) Lundberg, Larry (Judy) Schinke, and Peter (Amy) Schinke. Russ is further survived by many loving relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ervin and Rose Schinke, his grandson; Gavin Schinke, his sisters; Mary Ann, Caroline, Margaret, and Gayle.
A Memorial Graveside Service for Russ will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Committal Shelter at the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
