Rustie G. Travers
King, WI (formerly of Plover, WI)
age 62 – died on Monday, September 6, 2010 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King, WI. He was born on April 7, 1948 in Stevens Point, WI, the son of Glenn and Vivian (Newby) Travers.
Rustie is survived by a sister, Sharon Podloski, and other relatives and friends.
Rustie had farmed with his family in the Bancroft area. He had served in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam War. He became a resident of the Wisconsin Veterans Home in 2006.
A visitation will be held on Monday, September 13, 2010 from 10:30 – 11:00 AM at the Wisconsin Veterans Home-Ainsworth Hall Chapel at King, WI. A graveside service and military honors will follow in the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, WI, with Chaplain John Schmidt, officiating. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
