Age 94 – passed away on August 9, 2013 at Wild Rose Manor in Wild Rose, WI. She was born on June 9, 1919 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Albert and Minnie (Wangerin) Greasby. She married John A. Bresler, Jr on March 16, 1941 in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on March 15, 1985.
Ruth is survived by her sons; John F. Bresler and James Bresler of Wild Rose, her daughter; Diane (Roger) Tollefson of West Bend, grandchildren; Lisa (Raymond) Rettig of Brownsville, Raymond Tollefson of West Bend, and Gina (Ralph) Raether II of Kewaskum, great grandchildren; Ashley and Izzabella Tollefson, and Briana, Samuel, Ralph III, Dylan, and Mason Raether. Ruth is further survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, her parents, and siblings.
Ruth had been employed at UW – Milwaukee for a number of years before taking a position as a claims processor for the Wisconsin State Dept. of Revenue. Some of her interests included sewing and reading.
A visitation only will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose, WI on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM. The Holly Funeral Home of Wild Rose, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
