Ruth Hansen's Obituary
Ruth Hansen, age 94 of Amherst passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019. Ruth was born on February 27, 1925 daughter of the late Andrew and Frances (Kostuck) Patoka. She married Verne “Husky” Hansen on May 25, 1946.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Sally Woyak; son-in-law, Carl Pionkowski; grandchildren, Chris (Paula Peper) Woyak, Todd (Teresa Johnson) Woyak, Shane (Jackie) Pionkowski, Kevin (Amy) Pionkowski, Brian Pionkowski; great-grandchildren, Haley, Dylan, Courtney Woyak, Caden, Cael, Liam, Eva, Eden Pionkowski, Taylor (Jesse) Wiernic, Trenton Johnson; great-great-grandchildren, Paisley and Aubrey Wiernic; also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Verne Hansen; daughters, Mary Pionkowski and Susie Hansen; son-in-law, Larry Woyak; siblings, Jerome and David Patoka, Florian and Joan Patoka, Vic and Pearl Patoka, Evelyn and Jerry Windels, Germain and Jim Donovan, Ann Marie and Babe Konkol.
Graveside Services will be held at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery in Amherst. Jungers-Holly Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
