Ruth Louise Loker's Obituary
Ruth Louise Loker, age 88, of Waupaca, WI, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah, WI. Ruth was born in Iola, WI on June 30 1935. She attended school in Omro, WI. On August 27, 1951 she married Harold Loker, also of Omro. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses July 17, 1956. She happily served as a pioneer for over 10 years, mostly in the Ripon, WI area where she helped others come to know the Bible. She was a member of the Waupaca, WI congregation which she enjoyed for over 25 years. She loved reading and would often read a book a day. She also enjoyed taking care of her house plants. Most of all she enjoyed being with her family, her children, grandchildren, and great-grand children.
Ruth is survived by her children: Howard (Jody) Loker, Rodney (Lindsay) Loker and Rebekah (William) Campbell; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and her brother Albert Button . Ruth was preceded in death by her parents Hale and Pauline Button; her husband Harold Loker and sisters Beverly Gabrilska, Jean Puckett, and Karen Fernandez.
A memorial service for Ruth will be held at 3:00PM on Monday July 24, 2023, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, at E3273 Apple Tree Ln, Waupaca, WI, with Jason Boak officiating. After the service there will be light refreshments at the Kingdom Hall.
