Ryan Hagen's Obituary
Ryan Hagen, age 62, of Nelsonville, WI., died suddenly on Friday, January 15th, 2010. He was born in West Allis, WI., on September 3, 1947, a son of the late Rolland and Jesse (Borgen) Hagen. He attended schools in the Milwaukee area and further education at UWSP and UW Oshkosh receiving his MBA. He worked in managerial and accounting positions. He was the owner of Hagen Hackle & Tackle and later in his career was a computer programmer. He married Miriam Marold of Menasha on September 14, 1974. She preceded him in death in March of 2005. He married Patricia (Alm) Raddatz of Nelsonville on August 31, 2008, she survives. They lived on the Tomorrow River. Ryan was an avid fly fisherman, hunter, storyteller and musician. He was the proud father of son, Brad Hagen, Gilbert, AZ and daughter, Amy (Tim) Boocher, Pine River, WI. He is further survived by a sister, Rhonda (Dave) Smerchek, Union Grove, WI. He is further survived by loving grandchildren, Karina Hagen, Violet Schwersenska (Boocher) and Forrest Boocher and an extended family of stepchildren, Amy (Mark) Pearson, Carrie (Roy) Wierzba, Kristin (Chris) Deptula, Timm (Michelle) Raddatz and 6 step-grandchildren. Ryan was a beloved husband and father and adoring grandfather. Funeral Services will be held at Nelsonville Lutheran Church, Nelsonville at 11 AM on Wednesday, January 20th, 2010, with Rev. Dwight Anderson officiating. Interment will be in the Nelsonville Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 5 - 8 PM at the Nelsonville Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Fox Valley Trout Unlimited.
